All plans include all utilities and complimentary access to Food Studio educational resources including seminars, consulting and mentorship. Scheduling and all Food Studio operations are handled via apps and online access.

Foodpreneur memberships are for a 6-month term and are not to be confused with leases. Membership payments are made via monthly electronic payments.

Is there a lease or rental agreement needed?

The Food Studio is a membership model. We do not lock you into long term commitments. Our minimum monthly membership is 6 months.

What is a plant-based commercial shared kitchen?

A plant-based commercial shared kitchen is a facility designed for food entrepreneurs and businesses who specialize in plant-based cuisine. It provides fully equipped kitchen space that can be rented on a flexible basis.

Who can rent space in a plant-based commercial shared kitchen?

Anyone with a business or interest in plant-based food production can become a member, including caterers, bakers, chefs, and food startups. At this time food trucks are not eligible for membership.

What equipment is available in the shared kitchen?

Our kitchen is equipped with standard commercial kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, mixers, sinks, food preparation counters, and storage space. Some refrigeration and freezer space is available depending on your membership package.

How is the kitchen space rented?

Kitchen space can be rented on an hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis, depending on your needs and availability. You can book online or contact our office for assistance.

Is there a minimum membership commitment?

Yes, the minimum membership commitment is six (6) months.

Are there any requirements for becoming a member of the kitchen space?

Members must comply with all local health and safety regulations, obtain any necessary permits or licenses for their food business, and adhere to our kitchen rules and guidelines. Members must also have food safety certifications.

Members must also maintain general liability insurance with a minimum of $500,000 per occurrence and $1,000,000 aggregate

How does reserving kitchen time work?

Based on your membership level you can reserve the kitchen station and equipment via the Food Corridor app.

Can I store ingredients and supplies in the kitchen?

Yes, depending on your membership plan we provide storage space for ingredients, supplies, and equipment on a first-come, first-served basis. However, please label and store your items responsibly to ensure cleanliness and organization.

Are there any restrictions on the types of food I can prepare in the kitchen?

Our kitchen is exclusively for plant-based food production. All recipes and products prepared in the kitchen must be free from animal products.

Can I bring my own equipment into the shared kitchen?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own small equipment and tools, such as knives, cutting boards, and mixing bowls. However, any large equipment must be approved by management before use.
